Nurudeen Darboe, inspired University of Gambia to win against Tujereng United in the on going West Coast Regional Football Association (WCRFA) Third Division League.

UTG FC who had drawn their first match of the league against German Gambia, were on high spirits playing against Kombo North giants Tuji United who were on three points coming in to the encounter.
UTG FC’s captain of the day Nurudeen Darboe, gave them an early lead when he broke the deadlock as early as the eleventh minutes of the contest. From Nurudeen’s goal it was all Tujereng United but they were lacking the focus and the cutting edge to break UTG’s resolute defence.
Modou Lamin Jobe double UTG’s lead in the 66th minutes of the match. Jobe strike partner Mam Hall rubbed Baboucarr Colley of the ball before he laid the ball for Modou Lamin to hammer home on a Red carpet.
Ousman Marena scored a consolation goal in the 90+4 minutes from the penalty spot to reduced the deficits to 2-1.
