Quarter-final action kicked off in Ngain Sanjal with Kanuma drawing first blood through Ousman Dampha, setting the tone for a fiery contest. Sabach Sanjal quickly regrouped, overturning the early setback with goals from Omar Bun Bah and Modou Njie to lead 2–1.

Kanuma were gifted a lifeline before halftime when Edrissa Koroma’s own goal levelled the score at 2–2. The second half maintained its intensity, but Sabach Sanjal reclaimed control, eventually sealing a 3–2 victory. Kanuma’s second goal came from Ensa Jammeh, whose effort kept the game alive before Sabach Sanjal closed out the match to secure their semifinal ticket.

In Toubakolong, the home side delivered a commanding performance with a 3–1 triumph over Ndungu Kebbeh. Ebrima Touray broke the deadlock early, followed by a strike from Ousainou Touray to double the advantage. Ndungu Kebbeh responded through Ebrima Gaye, briefly shifting momentum, but Kasim Bah restored Toubakolong’s cushion in the 64th minute to seal the result.

NBRFA 2025 Zonals quarter-finals concluded with two tense, goalless clashes, both settled by dramatic penalty shootouts.
At Medina Daru, a deadlock defined by stout defending was broken from the spot, where the visiting Mbollet-Ba goalkeeper made two crucial saves to secure his side’s progression.
The drama peaked in the final tie, where hosts Essau Zone and Farafenni also battled to a 0-0 stalemate. In a bold 90th-minute move, Essau substituted their experienced keeper for a young deputy, who then saved two penalties in the shootout to clinch a dramatic semi-final berth.
Mbollet-Ba and Essau now advance to join Sabach Sanjal and Toubakolong in the last four.

A rising midfield jewel with maturity beyond his years. Ebou Tambedou dictated the tempo for Sabach Sanjal throughout the contest, displaying composure, intelligence, and relentless work rate in the heart of the pitch.

A generational talent stepping up. Though young, Ousainou Touray played with the authority of a seasoned talisman, orchestrating Toubakolong’s gritty 3-1 quarterfinal victory over Ndungu Kebbeh. For a commanding display capped by an ice-cool finish of a goal, he was rightly awarded Man of the Match.
Modou Njie produced a heroic goalkeeping performance to steer his side through a tense quarter-final showdown against Medina Daru. With the match ending goalless after regulation time, the young shot-stopper rose to the occasion in the penalty shootout, making crucial saves to secure a 4–2 victory for Mbollet-Ba.
Essau’s Nuha Sonko delivered yet another captivating performance. His eye-catching display earned him a deserved third Man of the Match award in the Bakary K. Jammeh-sponsored NBRFA 2025 Zonals.
