Sibanor United coming to the final for the second time won 2-1 after coming a goal down yesterday against Kunkujang Friends.

As winners of the league 2024/25 season they lifted the giant trophy with the gold medal and a cheque for One Hundred Thousand Dalasis (D100,000.00).

Francis Gomez and Sainey Nyassi scored in the 61st and 83rd minutes respectively as Sibanor United came from behind to beat Kunkujang Friends 2-1 at the Boxba.

Pa karamo Drammeh had given the Kunkujang side a 15th minute lead when he poked the ball through the legs of Isaac Mendy at the Democracy end of the ground and they saw it to halftime but a beautiful brilliance from Francis, leveled matters before Sainey Nyassi ensured that Sibanor United become champions.
