grass root football usually creates that platform of young players to showcase what they are capable of doing and also gives young people the opportunity to meet new friends from different backgrounds, as well as providing parents with the opportunity to meet with other parents, who they otherwise may not have met.

Sports also provide adults with the opportunity to share their talents and learn new skills, whether it be helping with coaching or administration wise, And talking about grass root football the head coach of Marimoo football Modou jallow has been speaking to logicsport news about grass root development.

Who said ‘’ nawettan football is the grass root academy of the Gambia football which is every thing to the country .everything started in nawettan football even we the coaches started our careers in nawettan football so for that been the case we can’t give our back to nawettan football which is the key to our football development .

We the coaches have to go back to nawettan football to help the young ones in other to use them in our various league football competitions ‘’ he said .

Jallow further went to talk about sponsorship pack ‘’ I believe it high time for companies to started coming in and support some our various zones in other to produce good crop of players that can easily represent the country in any given competitions’’ The Gaffer concluded.
