Lions of Banjul, held high flying Latrikunda United in a goal less stalemate draw in their last match of the first round. The Banjulians are of the pace with the majority of their competitors.
They hardly win their matches and as a result they are down in the pecking order. They started the league in a high note but they could not maintain the paced they started with.
Whilst LK boys had redeemed themselves during the last five matches of the first round. Latrikunda United finished the first round with 22 points and they are on sixth position.
While, Lions of Banjul are just are on 13 position with only 14 points. Gambia Football Federation Division 2 will go for a deserved break and it will resume on the 14 of March, 2019.
