LAMIN KOITA EXPLAIN TO LOGIC SPORTS ON REASONS OF SETTING UP ACADEMY SCHOOL IN THE GAMBIA

Koita football academy is a five you old football school located at bakoteh it was established in 2014 and the aim of the football school is to promoted grass football in the country and also providing that platform for young aspiring players hopeful of becoming professional in due time .

The football school has range some categories from under 10 to 18 which is the last level of the football school and speaking about the football school ,Lamin koita is the founder of the school and has been tell us why setting up a football school in the country “I see my self that can put something to the kids and I can make some contributions to the sports of the Gambia .so I said let me try and see how to start up this academy ,so when , I started it.

first I started with under 10 to 12 in other to control the numeber for the time been ,then as I was going ,I see players coming in ,parents bring their kids to the football school ,so I try to categories them professionally from under 10 to 16 to 20 .

But when I started it people started encouraging me but one principle of the koita football academy is that the kid most go to school in otheecto make things easier for us during our training practicals but if our players don’t go to school it will always be a task for us and this is something vwe talking about professionalism .

We are very serious on our players going to school” .Lamin futher went to talk about payment forms ” if you want to join the school there is form that you fill for 100 dalasi and your parents need to sign to make sure that the kid has bought to the football school by the parent not th koita football academy bringing players to be on a saver side ” he concluded.
