Gunjur United Head Coach Buba Kakai Bojang, has accused Gambia Football Federation and the referees for selective justice. Kakai Bojang, made these comments following their week fourteen 2-1 lost to Waa Banjul. Kakai, lamented that the changed of venue the GFF competition department made less than 24 hours before their top of the table clash with Waa Banjul, has impacted heavily in his side dismal performanced against the Banjulians.

“Definitely it is a very bad game for our boys today. Because something cost that. Since our last match we have been informed that our game will take place at Independence stadium, Bakau. Yesterday at 15:24 we received a call that our match is shifted to the Banjul mini stadium. Definitely speaking Banjul ground is not a good ground for us, whenever we played here our players get injuries.
Today our goalkeeper got a serious injury and the last time we played here Mbemba got injured.” “So my disappointment goes to GFF because they way they are going, as I always said, Gunjur is not their favourite. We’re try but we’re suffering from the FA down to the referees.”
The gaffer irked. Bojang, has shown his displeasure in a post match interview with our reporter. Buba Kakai even went on to alleged that the entire Football Federation including the men and women with the whistle and the baton has something against the Dabanani boys.
The Gunjur born tactician accused Gambia Football Federation 2nd vice President of playing a part in his side defeat. Citing that they have seen Ebou Faye having a conversation with the first assistant minutes before the kickoff. Whenever, we’re playing here you will see the GFF 2nd vice president, Ebou Faye, talking to the first assistant.
Who made blunders here today. He left a death offside for Waa Banjul to score, so I think Gambian football is not fair. We are just struggling using our money and our resources but the FA is not fair.” “Even the entire FA, because you cannot change a match just hours before the game. You changed a match 48 hours before a schedule fixture. You have to prepare mentally and the pitch you’re playing too.” He asserts.
