GAF HELD REAL DE BANJUL TO STAY ON BEATEN

Ebou Jarra’s, Gambia Armed Forces, held Real de Banjul to a frustrating barren draw to finished the first round unbeaten. The khaki boys held Real de Banjul and remains the only unbeaten team in both the Gambia Football Federation Division 1 and 2.

The soldiers latest stalemate draw is their 10th draw in the domestic league and 11th in all competitions. The soldiers are three points behind the league leaders with 19 points, two points adrift of second place Brikama United who are with 19 points.

Armed Forces have to do better in terms of winning matches if they are to match their ambition of winning the league. Meanwhile, Real de Banjul interim coach, Musa Njie drop his first points. Musa, who took over the affairs of the “Whites” following the resignation of Majorr Saine as Real’s Head Coach.

Musa Njie won his first match in charge against the ferry boys but he fails to make it two out of two.
