Gambia Ports Authority are on course to top the league table standings for the first time this season, if they can win against Samger today.

The ferry boys are currently on 4th position with fourteen points, just 3 points adrift of league leaders Wallidan FC.
But a win today will see them equal Wallidan FC tally and they will top the league with a slight goal difference. The Academy boys are having a troublesome season following their promotion to the top tier. Samger FC, are second from bottom with only eight points.
The Academy boys have to start winning matches if they have to stay in the league while for the ferry boys they have to keep on winning to have any chance of clinching the coveted league trophy for the first time since they won it in 2010 under Peter Bonu Johnson.
