Emil Sambou, return from a brief spell with Senegalese giants ASC Casa Sports to help Armed Forces come from a goal down to beat Wallidan 2-1. Armed Forces, who have beaten Wallidan 3-1 in the reversed fixture during the first round, complete a double against the blues boys due to some sloppy display from their netminder.
Wallidan FC, get themselves in front when Baboubacarr Jallow scored from a perfect delivery from Wallidan wing wizard Modou Lamin Manneh. From recess Armed Forces, were the better side as they have dominated the proceedings. Kabiro Joof scored in the 58th monitor bring parity to the match. Salifu Ceesay surged forward and unleashed a perfect cross for Kabiro to tap in.
Armed Forces, completed their comeback when their big bulky striker Emil Sambou bundle the ball into the net following a poor goalkeeping by Wallidan goalie in the 66th minutes. Emil’s goal aid the khaki boys to complete a double over the blue boys. Gambia Armed Forces, are on second position with 23 points while Wallidan FC drop to forth position with 22 points.
