BRIKAMA UNITED DROPS ANOTHER VALUABLE POINTS AWAY FROM HOME

Senegalese born striker, Youssouf Diabang, strike just after the hour mark to rescue a point for Brikama United.

Banjul United talisman, Muhammed Samba, broke the deadlock in the 30th minutes to give his side the lead. Banjul United capitalised on Brikama United mistake to pounce on them through Muhammed, who scored to broke the heart of the travelling Satayba supporters.

Brikama United, dominated the entire proceedings in the first half but they could not broke a well marshall Banjul United defence. Brikama United, created a lot of chances but there forward trio of Assan Badji, Momodou Bojang and Ismaila Ceesay were wasteful in the half of the match.

Youssouf Diabang, once again came of the bench to score an important goal for coach Modou Lamin Nyassi’s side to level the scoreline. Brikama United miss a penalty prior to Youssouf Diabang’s well taken goal.

The draw means Brikama United, have surrender their top spot to the Blue boys Wallidan FC.
