Siaka Gassama opened the scoring for Elite United within a minute, but Muhammed Lamin Bah equalised for Colley Stars in the seventh minute before Edirisa Njie put them ahead in the 74th minute. However, Elite United produced their own comeback through Adama Kujabi in the 90th minute, and then came the shocker punch from Kawsu Jatta deep into stoppage time for the home side to collect the maximum points.
