Dampha won Silver with the Young Scorpions in both the WAFU and AFCON and also helped the Gambia to the Round of 16 Knock Out phase at the FIFA U20 World Cup Argentina 2023.

Dampha recorded two clean sheets in WAFU (Cape Verde and Guinea), five clean sheets in AFCON where he was eventually awarded MOTM and a clean sheet against South Korea in the FIFA World Cup in Argentina.
