Modou Lamin Marong a native of Mayamba in the Gambia has sign a year long contract with Swedish third tier side Robertsfors IK. Lamin Marong is a former player of GPA and Olympic De Guediawaye in Dakar, He is an offensive player with incredible unique technique, light footed and agile player and very strong with arial duels.
The 21 year old was first spotted during the zonals with the BEM zonal team and was later scouted by the then GPA coach Alhagie Sarr and Hadji Tunkara.
He later traveled to Dakar, Senegal to play with Olympique De Guediawaye football club and then finally left for Sweden. His previous club was Jonsered IK a third tier swedish club also.
