Seyfo Soley is Gambian Midfield footballer,born in 16 February 1980 at Lamin, the Gambia. Avery charismatic and commanding midfielder, with a very strong personality.
Seyfo started his senior career at Banjul Hawks (city red devils) in the 1998–1999 season, playing only a season there. In 1999 – 2000 season he joined Sportkring Sint-Niklaas a Belgian side now playing in the fourth Division. Making 24 appearance and scoring only once.
In 2000-2002 he went on to join K.S.C Lokeren SNW a second-tier club in the Belgian league, making 49 league appearances . He was on the move again in the 2002-2003 season, this time joining Belgian soccer giants Koninklijk Racing Club Genk commonly known as KRC Genk.
He made 41 league appearance there ,scoring twice for his club. The mid-field maestro was constantly on the move. 2003–2004 season saw him switch to Riyadh based club Al Hilal SFC, unfortunately he did not take part in the club activities during the season. In 2004 he had a second-spell with KRC Genk making 43 league appearances scoring twice for his club.
Seyfo wanted to play in the English Premier League all along, But the closer he could get was to join Preston North End F.C in 2006-2007 season, an English professional football club in Preston, Lancashire, whose team currently plays in the EFL Championship, the second tier of the English football league system. He made 6 league appearances.
On 26 July 2008 Soley played as a trialist for Motherwell in the second half of their 4-0 friendly win over Bradford City.
However , Seyfo went on trials with Norwich City in the 2008-09 season under Glenn Roeder but was not offered a permanent deal. He was out of contract for 3 years, Seyfo made plans to move to the Cyprus premier-tier side Apollon Limassol in 2010, and the deal took effect in January 2011, after Apollon Limassol exhausted their 17-foreign-player limit.
The defensive mid-fielder is been capped 9 times for the Gambia scorpions scoring only once.
