OUR LEGENDS CORNER: Abdoulie Paco Corr

Abdoulie Corr born on 9 June 1982 in Banjul the Gambia, a native of Banjul south ( half-die). The legendary veteran started his senior carrier at Banjul Hawks between 2002 and 2006. Paco was a natural center back and a defending midfielder during his spell at Banjul Hawks, a very discipline center back .

Paco Later proceeded to KPV a Finnish football club, based in Kokkola in 2006 till 2010 making 81 appearances, scoring only once. KPV is a team presently playing in the Finnish Premier Division. He later proceeded to
Porin Palloilijat or FC PoPa in 2010 – 2011 , a Finnish football club playing in the second division based in the city of Pori in Finland making only 4 appearance due to injury plagues.

However, Paco was determined to continue with his career despite his injuries, he joined Vaasan Palloseura (VPS) a Finnish football club currently playing in the finnish premier division , based in Vaasa. Making only 2 appearances.

He finally joined Närpes Kraft Fotbollsförening a football club from Närpes a team in the Finnish second division and currently with the club.

Paco was first called to the Gambia national squad (Scorpions) in 2002 and consistently till 2007. He has been capped at international level by the Gambia national team 5 times.

A legend with discipline,strong character, dedication. A man that young players try to emulate .
