Brikama, Gunjur And Falcons Register Wins in Match Day Two

Defending League Champions Brikama United returned to the pitch on Match Day Two of the GFF domestic League when they took on promoted side Elite United on Thursday 12th December, 2019 at the Banjul Mini Stadium to win 2-1 for their first maximum points.

Brikama took off with an early lead through Lamin Kolley in the opening two minutes before the former Sporting Real responded through Ablie Jallow to equal the scoring before the break. Alieu Jammeh made the day for the ‘Sateba‘ boys scoring the winner for a happy Brikama United moment collecting their first three points.

Brikama are now on 4 points from two games whilst Elite United only collected a point from a possible Six.

It is also match Day Two in League Div Two where promoted side Falcons FC made a remarkable comeback from their Week One defeat to Samger to record a narrow but winnable 1-0 victory over Team Rhino whilst Gunjur United inflicted heavy pain on early strugglers Steve Biko FC with a whopping 3-1 win over the Giant killers.
