Coach Tapha Manneh Has Guided Liscr fc to Five major titles in three years. He guided his Liberian top flight team, LISCR FC to the traditional ‘Who owns the land’ tournament in the male category after defeating Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) 1-0 in the final.
The Tournament was organise by the Liberia Football Association with the support of Liberia Land Authority (LLA). The Tournament which is a off-season tournament was a success according to some FA officials.
Tapha guided the shipyard boys to their fifth trophy since his appointment in 16/17 (Jul 1, 2016). He has now won One League Title, Two FA Cups and Two Super Cup with the shipyard boys.
Before the start of the 2016-17 season, the club signed Gambian coach, Mustapha Manneh who led the club to an unbeaten league run.
Tapha Manneh won the new First Division title in style as they finish the 2016-17 First Division League unbeaten, becoming the first and only Liberian club to win the league unbeaten. From 22 matches, the team was able to obtain 10 wins and 12 draws as they ended the league season with 42 points. The 2016-17 season turned out to be the best in the club history by winning double championship. They climaxed the 2016-17 season by winning the Liberia Football Association FA Cup.
LISCR FC were awarded a giant trophy, medals and a check of L$200,000 as winners, while the runners-up, Barrack Young Controllers (BYC) were presented silver medals.
