Sissohore grew up with a twin sibling with her mother, Salimatou Sidibeh Sissohore, who was a single parent.
Sissohore only started playing football in 2012. She was spotted at a school tournament by assistant national team coach Choro Mbenga . Sissohore is left-footed .
She began her career at Abuko United , where she later captain was and entered 2012 with the Gambian U-17 team at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Women in Azerbaijan to. At 13 years and 267 days, she was the youngest player against North Korea and also the youngest goal scorer in the history of the tournament in the match against France. Gambia, however, lost all three group games clearly and was group last.
In late 2012, she played for the Berewuleng FC .
In 2015, she appeared as an ambassador for the Live your Goals project of the FIFA World Football Association FIFA .
In August 2015, she became the successor to Choro Mbenga Women’s Football Commissioner of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) and ended her football career at the age of 18.
