n 2009, an older sister of the twins, who played at the Red Scorpions , recommended the coach Choro Mbenga to her siblings. Both debuted in the 2010/2011 season and Adama Tamba was top scorer with twelve goals. The following year, she was able to repeat this with 13 goals. In the 2012/2013 season, she scored in the league games 20 goals in the following season, she improved with 21 goals their own record.

In 2016, several of their fellow Red Scorpions were suspended by the Gambia Football Federation for refereeing for 12 months, and the team had to play in the second league in the 2016/2017 season. There she scored 50 goals in eleven games. 

In October 2017, she was invited to a two-week trial to Paris Saint-Germain , but this did not lead to a commitment. 

In 2018 she was again with 20 goals scored top scorer. 

In October 2018 she was in talks with the Israeli club FC Ramat HaScharon about a change of club, but did not come off. 

As of late December 2018, she had scored a total of 209 goals in the Gambian leagues. 

On her debut in the women’s national team U-17 selection in January 2012 at age 14, she scored her first goal in a 3-0 win over Sierra Leone . The team was able to qualify for the U-17 World Cup of women in Azerbaijan , but lost all three group matches clearly and was group last.

In November 2015, she had their first appearance in the Gambian national football team of women in a friendly against the Glasgow Girls FC and scored in the 2-0 both goals.

In qualifying for the 2018 Africa Cup in April 2018 she scored in the 2-1 against Burkina Faso a goal. The team retired but in the second round against Nigeria , which later won the title.
