Makkan Bi FC were eliminated from the ongoing Canon Sponsored Banjul Nawettan after they were held to a goalless draw against Late Ebou Sowe FC in their final league game at the Banjul KG5 Mini-stadium on Tuesday.
This latest draw made them to occupy third position in Group D after collecting two points in three matches, while Late Ebou Sowe otherwise called Heart of Banjul has collected four points in three matches in the same group.
Makkan Bi has drew 1-1 with Black Diamond in their opening Group D encounter just before beaten 2-0 by FC Warriors in their second game.
On the other hand, Late Ebou Sowe who progressed to the next round after collecting a point against Makkan Bi on Tuesday has registered four points in three matches.
Late Ebou Sowe lost their opening 2-0 against Warriors FC before beaten Black Diamond by the same score-line (2-0) in their second league match.
As it stands in Group D, Warriors FC top the table with hundred percent record after collecting nine points in three matches followed by Late Ebou Sowe with four points in three.
Makkan Bi cannot make it to the next round after collecting two points in three matches, while Black Diamond relegated from the Banjul Nawettan after collecting a single points in three groups encounter.
At the time of going to press, Revelation FC were battling with the reigning league champions, MacDonald FC in Group A.
