THE SCORPIONS GEARS UP THEIR TRAINING PREPARATIONS

The scorpions of the Gambia kick started their preparations ahead the world cup qualifiers against Angola at the independence stadium in Bakau. The match is schedules for Friday the 6th of September 2019 at the only stadium in Banjul.

Coach Tom Saintfiet who extended his contract with the Gambia Football Federation as the boss of the national team of the Gambia following a brilliant run to the Africa cup nations Qualifies with is senior squad which give him the chance to extended his contract with the federation.

Though, Tom and his men were more of gathering draws in most of their fixtures which couldn’t earn them the automatic spot to the nations cup competition held in Cairo. Tom and his technical staff will be eyeing to set history for the Gambia as they kick start their world cup Qualifies to Angola at home soil on Friday the 6th September 2019.

However, all the players called up to this crucial tie have arrived in Banjul safely and are currently in Camp at the ocean Bay in cape point. The team is looking fresh and ready to turn things round at home soil before their return leg.

The players will be hoping to see a very good turn out from fans for a better home support performance in Banjul
