BA-JAFFU are crowned champions in Kunkujang Mariama tournament final following a lone goal from John Dayacky Gomez was enough for them to clinch the tournament trophy.
After their hard fought one -nil victory over BA-YALIYA in a Game that was played on Friday the 9th of August 2019 at Kunkujang Mariama football field.
The final was grace by few religious leaders across the small set-light villages within Kunkujang Mariama as the kick off was done by the Assistant Parish priest in the names of Father Peter.
However, both sides started well in the final but it was Ba-Jaffu who capitalized from a poor defending error in the 6th minutes when John Dayacky Gomez ran off the defence line with a brilliant strike.
From that moment, Ba Yiliya regroup themselves and found their pattern of football, enjoying a lot of possession far better than Ba -Jaffu who scored in the 6th minutes of the match but that luck was not on their side for a possible come back before the of 90th minutes.
As Ba- Jaffu stood firmed in their defence to denied any negotiation of a draw in the final. As the only goal was scored by John Dayacky in the final. They went home with a trophy and cash price of 2000 dalasi whilst Runners up Ba-yiliya pocketed 1500 dalasi for the efforts put across in the final.
