League winner Greater Tomorrow are set to clashed with knock-out holders Scovil Football Club in a Super cup final schedule to take place on Saturday the 3rd of August 2019 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium in Brikama by 4:30pm.
The Super Cup final will mark the kick start of the Nawettan proper in Brikama where a total of 32 teams are set to compete for glory in the zone.
Ahead of this final, both Scovil and Greater tomorrow last met in 2017 in the league proper were both sides settled for a 1 all draw in regulation time but it promises to be a different story at the box bar on Saturday.
Speaking to logic sport in a special interview towards the super cup final, the coach of Greater tomorrow Sheriff Jallow, who knows what lies ahead in facing scovil says ‘’ we are fully prepared because we are an academy team.
Since we centered the final last season and lift the trophy, we are well prepared up to date. I’m facing Scovil football club, a team that I personally respect with my boys. I know the team very well and it’s a good team but i am really prepared for any team in Brikama’’. Whiles his fellow challenger in the super cup final Sarjo Colley, head coach of Scovil Football Club, the man is fully aware of what it takes to face a champion. ‘’ I am well prepared because Greater tomorrow is just an academy team and you know how they prepared and play football. We meet them once in 2017 and 1 all drew in regulation time. So i’m fully ready for this coming game on Saturday ‘’ He concluded .
