The Global Property 6 a side football tournament has now reached to the semi finals.
On Saturday, Global FC won Ministry of Finance 4-2.
Global FC central midfielder Tairu Kujabi, tried to test the Finance keeper with a 30 yard shot but it went off the post.
Few minutes later, Tairu Kujabi slotted the ball to his forward Babucarr Samba who clinically stuck it into the goal post.
It was an individual brilliance that Babucarr Samba dribbled pass three Finance players and scored, giving his side 2.
This was a wake up call for the Finance side. Momodou Sanyang and Abdou Salam Jatta had a happy marriage combination from their half to the Global FC post and Abdou Salam Jatta dashed it in.
It could have been 3 for Global FC after Alfred Musa squandered a golden opportunity that was set by Babucarr Samba.
Tairu Kujabi made it 3 from shot he took from the centre of the field.
Momodou Marega of Finance turned and scored 12 seconds after his side received a goal.
Marega nearly equalized with an out side shot, but it hit the woodwork.
In the dying minute of the match, the central referee awarded a penalty to Global FC when defender Abdoulie Puye deliberately handed ball right inside his 18 yard box. Tairu Kujabi took the shot and smashed it in, making it 4 for Global FC.
The referee blew the whistle and the ended 4-2.
