Athletic Bilbao football club defeated Red Stars Football Club 2-1 towards their nawettan proper in Gunjur Football Filed. Gunjur -Athletic Football Club could not secure a qualification last season in the kombo south Biggest Football competition.
Gunjur zone is say to be one of the finest in kombo south when it comes to football development last season the sport committee attracted 16 teams participating in the championship.
But this season the sport committee under the leadership of Lamin Darboe Sey is expecting a bigger figure from the participating clubs in Gunjur. Athletic Bilbao Football Club last season slipped to Jujuba Football Club in failing to secure a spot in Gunjur.
Though the sport Committee of the village is enjoying the strong Backing of some real estate in Gunjur the likes of Green Vision and solid properties towards Nawettan Development in Kombo South in Gunjur.
