Waa Banjul and Sporting real are on the verge of earning a promotion in the topflight of Gambia Football Federation Division One league following their brilliant performance in the ongoing Gambia Football Federation Division two league football.
However, this could be one of their finest seasons so far for the two clubs with such a wonderful form in the league competition compared to other title challengers.
Waa Banjul are currently leading the peak with 57 points, won 17 of their matches, draw 6 and lost 4 in the league. whiles their closest rivals sporting real are also on the neck of outsmarting Waa Banjul at the top of the summit with a better goal different but the team will be praying for Waa Banjul to drop points in their remaining fixture in another to go top of the table.
Sporting real occupied second with a total of 54 points, three points separating them. However, both Psv Wellingara and Samger are already confirmed relegated to division two league football with such a poor run in the topflight football since been promoted.
