THE RED DEVILS (HAWKS FC) ENDS GAMBIA ARMED FORCES UNBEATEN RUN IN THE DOMESTIC LEAGUE

Hawks football club ends Gambia Armed Forces Fc (GAF FC) unbeaten run in the GFF domestic division one league in week 24 fixtures at the Independence Stadium in Bakau on Saturday the 25th May 2019,

The Kaki boys (Gambia Armed forces) unbeaten run of form finally came to an end as they battle the red devils ( Hawks Fc) , Modou Lamin Jarju Scored the only goal of the game just before the hour mark.

Gambia Armed Forces are currently in 2th position with 38 points after 24 matches played whiles hawks claimed to 4th with 34 points after 24 leagues matches as well. The red devils produced an excellent performance against Gambia Armed forces with some neat chances in the early stages of the match but were wasteful on series of occasions before Man of the match Modou Lamin Jarju separated both side in a well contested tie.

Gambia Armed Forces came close of scoring through creative Saikou Ba Ceesay with a shot that went inches wide from 20 yards in the 57 minutes. And after that moment both sides continue to canceled each other out for the entire remaining of minutes of the match.

The top of the summit is tight, the goal difference is reduced to a single point between the top three clubs as the season is in its final moments. The Khaki boys now have a very difficult task ahead if they are to win the league, they will now take on table strugglers Samger Fc in the next game and Brikama United in their final game.
