Coach Tapha Manneh’s LISCR Football Club Locked horns with BYC Football Club at the blue Field in the PHP Community in Monrovia on Sunday, April 21, 2019, 

The two best teams in the country, BYC Football Club and Liscr Football Club went head to head in the final round of matches for phase I, in the ongoing Liberia Football Association First Division National League. Coach Tapha manneh made only One change from the team that played against Nimba FC midweek. Curtis Koon back in the first XI.

BYC Football Club were in second position with 22 points, just 2 points adrift league leaders LPRC Oilers, while Liscr FC lied in third position with 21 points, just a point shy of BYC Football Club.

Liscr FC comes into this encounter on the back of a 1-0 away defeat to Nimba FC in Ganta City, Nimba County, while their counterpart, BYC Football Club was held to a 0-0 draw against Monrovia Club Breweries at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Liscr found themselves down to a goal in the first half before going to the break with a lot of questions to ask themselves. They return after the break more purposefully mounting attacks upon attacks with Byc fc equalling to the task. they later managed to break down BYC fc defence by putting two pass the goalie.

Goal from Benjamin Doe and Markey Morgan each was enough to put BYC football club down. It ended 2 : 1 in favour of LISCR football club. Liscr Fc tops the table standings but Lprc Football Club have a game in hand to be played .
