WAA BANNJUL HAMMERED YOUNG AFRICANS AND OPENED UP A GAP AT THE SUMMIT OF THE TABLE

Magnificent Waa Banjul United, hammered the oldest team in the Gambia Football Federation Division 2, by three goals to one and opened up a two point lead at the top.

Coach Abdou Njie side, thrashed the former Gambia Football Federation Division 1 champions 3-1 in week eighteen of the GFF Division 2 championship. Waa Banjul who were locked on points with Sporting Real, win against Young Africans to keep up the pace with the young whites, Sporting Real.

Sporting Real played a day after but they could only managed a two all draw with the Dabanani boys. Sporting Real’s stalemate draw has given their town rivals a two points lead going into week 19.
