An irritated Hawks FC coach, Alieu Jagne has accused the men and women with the whistle and baton of given preferential treatment to Brikama United whenever, the Satayba boys are playing at home.
Hawks FC, were defeated by Brikama United by two goals to nil thanks to a spirited performanced from the Satayba boys which was orchestrated by captain Ebou Kanteh. Alieu Jagne, the head coach of Qelemes branded Hawks FC admitted that they had a poor second half while Brikama United rise and shines as the match advanced. Hawks gaffer went on to accused the Modou Lamin Jobe led panel of biasness.
“We played a very bad second half, they serve to win. They played very well in the second half. The attacked us and they scored. “I cannot judge. But if you talk about referees, they said you’re talking an excuse. But to be honest if you are playing against Brikama in Brikama is another game.
” Jagne, sarcastically lunch a strong allegation against the entire refereeing fraternity. He alleged and question the impartiality of referees. He believes their is nonobjective by the referees when Brikama United are playing at home.
“So I cannot understand why all the fouls are given to them. Even to blow fouls against them is a problem. All the referees have that problem. When teams are playing against Brikama is a tough time for them. Even for them to take a decision is a big problem for them.
But I don’t want to take an excuse because Brikama played very well and they deserved to win.” “I don’t know maybe they have their own concept. But it is a strange thing in Gambian football. So you cannot blow nothing against Brikama inside Brikama. So I don’t and that’s is the case and it is football. ” A dejected Hawks FC gaffer explained to the waiting press.
