Musa who was born in Bundung, left for Sweden at the age of 11. “I was playing for GIF Sundsvall youth team but later decided to divert and take another path, a leadership training program. But my love affair with the beautiful game didn’t stop there, i instead turned around coaching in the youth team. What an irony, ha ha… By then i was in my early 20’s, going to school. These lads were the 1991 generation and this was were Emil Forsberg, Sweden and Liepzig football club forward emerged from. I am so so proud of him, yes!.” …And there were also Gambians who have played in the senior team. Aziz Corr nyang, Pa Dibba and the Jang brothers, Saihou and Alieu”.

“You can throw a rock in the river but it will never turn into a fish. Meaning no matter how long i live in Sweden, i am sill a Gambian and always a Gambian.”I am also running a garden called ROYAL FAMILY GARDEN here in the country. I have big plans for my beloved Gambia, but time will tell”.

My advice to the lads, study hard! be discipline! believe in yourself! dream big and chase your dreams! Believe me, you will be a success!
