Karamo Darboe’s Kiang West won back to back matches for the first time since they have attained promotion to the Gambia Football Federation Division 2 league.
The Kiangkas have shocked Waa Banjul and beat them 2-1 in their own yard.
A win for Waa could have seen them bridge the gab at the summit of the league to three points but that was not meant to be as a result of a rejuvenated Kiang West.
Lower River Region boys, came from a goal down to beat their experience rivals Bombada FC in week 9 fixture played at Jarra Soma football field. Kiang West, started the league in a fascinating fashion but of late their early form has faded away until recently.
Kiang West two consecutive wins has taken them far from the relegation zone with thirteen points.
The boys from Kiang are in hit form recently. Kiang West will next lock horns with Coach Yunusa Badjie’s Team Rhino United at the Soma field.
