CITY BOYS WALLIDAN BACK ON TOP

Striker Alagie Gibba’s two minutes strikes and Bocande neat finished help Wallidan restored their position at the summit of the Gambia Football Federation’s Division 1 table standings.

The blue boys Wallidan prove their tittle credentials as early as the second minutes of the first half. Striker Alagie Gibba score from closed to give his side an early lead.

Wallidan FC dominated the first half, creating many goalscoring chances but their strikers were guilty of missing so many glorious opportunities especially their talisman Modou Lamin Manneh.

Coach Kebba Sawaneh’s PSV Wellingara could not match the attacking threats of the blue boys. Bocande scored in the 58th minutes to ensure his side went home with a victory to celebrate.

The blue boys captain of the day, Modou Lamin Saho combined with Alagie Gibba to assist Bocande to increased their tally to 2-0.

PSV Wellingara scored in the 70th minutes of the contest but their lone goal was only a consolation.

Ousman Sanyang’s could not inspire his side for a comeback and as a result the match ended 2-1 in favour of Wallidan FC.
