Steve Biko and Waa Banjul have both snatched vital wins in the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league after winning their week-nine matches.
The Bakau giant killers defeated second division strugglers Red Hawks 1-0 at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium to fancy their first division return hopes alive.
They now secured 15 points after nine league matches and Red Hawks with 8 points in nine league matches. Waa Banjul beat stubborn Latrikunda United 2-1 at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium on the same day.
The win earned Waa Banjul 19 points after nine league matches and Latrikunda United with 9 points in nine league matches.
