Brikama United women team are currently leading the country’s women domestic division one league promotion berth following their dazzling performance in the league campaign.
The Saateba Girls were demoted to the second tier after miserable performance in the top-flight league last season.
They won majority of their matches this season and will be hopeful to keep up the momentum to regain promotion to the first division league football next season after grabbing 18 points in eight league matches.
Red Scorpions are currently topping the top tier table with 16 points after eight league matches and one point ahead of second-place Interior, who clasped 15 in eight league matches
