Over the weekend, Interior defeated newly promoted side City Girls 1-0 in the 2018-19 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) women domestic division one league played at the Serekunda east mini stadium.
Isatou Jallow netted the only goal for Interior in the first half of the game to earn them the vital three points.
City Gal who are just new to the system of the domestic league fought hard for an equalizer but Interior where too strong at their back notifying all the treats produce by their opponents.
As Isatou’s Jallow only goal separated the two side in the final minutes. In week-eight of the second division, Brikama United beat Jeshwang 1-0 at the Serekunda East Mini Stadium.
Greater Tomorrow edged-past Raptin on the same score line and Breweleng also beat Future Bi on the same score line.
