Samba Jawneh and Babou Cham each scored and assisted in the second half to help elevate Real de Banjul to the top of the summit for the first time this season.
PSV Wellingara who in search of their first win in the top flight faces up a hungry Majorr Saine’s Real de Banjul, who only needed a win with more than one goal margin to top the Division one table standings.
The first half was a cagey affairs as both teams were lacking the cutting edge to penetrate either defensive walls.
The whites, were the bitter side of the two with Babou Cham on top of his game causing havoc whenever, Real de Banjul are attacking. Real de Banjul once again prove their supremacy in the second half of the match by scoring two goals.
Samba Jawneh was first to register his name on the scoresheet when heads in Babou Cham’s devilish free kick. Before he returns the favour and assist Babou Cham to rapped up the scoreline to 2-0.
The defeat left PSV Wellingara languishing at the bottom of the league as the only team yet to register a win in the 2018/19 Gambia Football Federation Division one league.
Whilst Real de Banjul 2-0 win has move them to top of the table standings ahead of Brikama United and Wallidan FC on goal difference.
