Ceesay’s Fc Baboucarr Badjan and Yankuba Mankara were on target Ceesay’s FC, thrashed Red Bull FC 3-0 at the Farato football field on Friday.
The sun was shining in Farato and the condition were almost perfect for both teams to clash. there was a decent turn-out which included fans and spectator’s at Farato football field.
The game has a slow started in the early minutes. Ceesay FC, took the lead after 20 minutes, when Baboucarr Badjan slid in at the far post to score from Yunusa ceesay’s through passed. Red bull FC, could’ve levelled the scoreline following a poor defending from Ceesay FC but the prolific striker’s shot hit the side netting.
Ceesay’s FC, increased their lead to 2-0 in the 50th minutes when Bernard Mendy directed Yankuba Mankara’s inswing free kick into his own net.
Matar Bojang could’ve made things worse for Red Bull’s, he skipped passed the Red Bull’s goalie but his debutants ever hardworking defender Lamin Badjie made a perfect sliding challenged to denied Matarr Bojang in the 66 minutes.
The debutantes hearts were broken, when Bernard Mendy’s teasing free kick beats a four man wall before getting pass a hapless Red Bull’s goalie Badjie to made the scoreline more embarrassing for the debutants 3-0 it ended.
Sunday 27/01/09 Ceesay’s fc will be meeting Sevilla fc in their next league fixture while Red bull fc will battle with Sanchaba fc on Wednesday 30/01/09 in Farato football field.
