The Sanyang-based club dominated Young Boys Star’s for the entire first period with series of goal scoring chances but all went in vain.
The Jambanjelly-based club, who were over-powered in the midfield, relied on counter attack but lack that strength in front to penetrate Amina Gas’s terrifying defence line, ending the first half to a goalless affair.
Upon resumption, Amina Gas continued their supremacy over Young Boys Star and secured numerous goal scoring chances. Their efforts paid off in the 80th minute of the match when star player Haruna Saidy netted the opener, which eventually proved to be a winner for Amina Gas.
