Lions of Banjul are ambitious to bounce back in the 2018-2019 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) second division league after their recent slump in the country’s second tier.

The Banjul-based club will play at home to Bombada in the week-six fixture today Thursday at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium at 4pm. They are with 6 points in the second division league and will rival to blow Bombada to recover in the league after losing four matches in a row.

The Brikama-based team are with 8 points after six league matches and will compete to lead the Lions of Banjul to increase their hopes of returning to the top flight next season, following their demotion to the second tier.

Latrikunda United will rub shoulders with Brufut United at the Serrekunda East Mini Stadium. The Latrikunda-based team snatched 7 points after six league matches and Brufut United with 8 points in six league matches.

Jambanjelly United, who bagged 8 points in eight league matches will welcome Immigration, who are with 5 points after six league matches at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Kiang west will host Gunjur United at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium on the same day. The Kiang-based outfit clinched 7 points after six league matches and Gunjur with 8 points in six league matches.
