KIDS PRACTICING GRASS ROOT FOOTBALL AT THE STREETS OF KUNKUJANG MARIAMA.

Grassroots football is all football that is non-professional and non-elite. This includes, but is not limited to, children’s football, schools and youth football, amateur football, football for disabled players, football for veterans and walking football.

In short, grassroots football is a football played by the masses at a level where participation and a love of the game are the driving forces. Football brings benefits to society as a whole, as it is not only about the game itself, but instilling values including teamwork, social development, health, fitness and personal fulfillment.

The game is a vehicle for educational, social and sporting development, and as such, the world governing body FIFA. in short is really invests heavily in grassroots football to ensure that everybody has the opportunity to be involved in the game, regardless of age, ability, ethnicity, race, religion or sexual identity.

However, it might be too early from the small lads to noticed their dreams of becoming professionals in few years’ time but the most interesting part of all is that, most of them are dreaming of becoming the likes of Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Torres just to name a few super starts on the planet.

in truth it’s so sad meeting these young lads on their daily exercise with beer foots due to what, some financial constrained faced by their families but to be honest aims and objectives are high as many of them confident of playing for big clubs in Europe like Barcelona, Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester city.
