Sport minister: Gambia football require more aid

Mr. Sidibeh was speaking to journalists during FIFA president Gianni Infantino’s visit to president Adama Barrow at State House in Banjul on Monday. He applauded FIFA for rendering support to Gambian football.

Gambia’s youth and sports minister Hadrammeh Sidibeh has said that the country’s football development is very challenging for him and his ministry.

The minister added that, the country need more support from the world’s football governing body to develop the world’s most popular game. “We will be happy if FIFA can aid us in developing our football projects as well as promoting the country’s hopes of professionalising the domestic league,” he said.
