It was all heaven for teams from West Coast Region in the on going GFF Second Division league, Brufut United and Jambanjelly United won handsomely while big brothers Bombada grind out a 2-1 win against Red Hawks FC.

Bakau giants killers, Steve Biko, beat Young Africans 1 nil in a closely contested match played at the Independent Stadium. Steve Biko latest win has catapulted them up to 4th in the league table standings.

While Young Africans are only a place above the danger zone. Brufut United thrashed Lions of Banjul 3-0. Coach Yahya Manneh’s boys scored three goals without a reply against former league champions Young Africans who are now third from bottom in the league standings.

Gunjur United played an entertaining 1 all draw with coach Alagie Sey’s Latrikunda United boys. LK boys came from behind to shared the spoiled with Gunjur United. LRR boys Kiang West, were held to a 1 all draw by struggling Immigration who are second from bottom.

Kiang West rose to an early lead before they were pecked back by Immigration. Jambanjelly United humiliated 2nd Infantry Battalion in the own home ground.
