Foreign Based Players’ Update (Lamin Jallow’s Salernitana Secure Victory To Move Within Two (2) Points Off The League Leaders Pescara)

Lamin Jallow’s Salernitana were at home to Livorno in round ten (10) of the Italian Serie B.

Jallow was on the starting line-up and played ninety (90) minutes as his side secured victory to move within two (2) points of the league leaders Pescara.

Salernitana broke the deadlock in the 31st minute through Riccardo Bocalen to take a 1-0 lead and head into the break with their advantage intact. They doubled their lead in the 60th minute through Raffaele Pucino whilst Matteo Di Gennaro reduced the deficit for the visitors in the 75th minute. Riccardo Bocalon secured his brace and his side’s third goal in the 88th minute to wrap up a 3-1 victory.

Salernitana currently stand at 3rd position on the table with seventeen (17) points, a point behind 2nd placed Palermo who are with a game-in-hand and two (2) points behind league leaders Pescara. They are also level on points with 4th placed Verona,nine (9) points above 15th placed Cosenza in the relegation zone and twelve (12) points above 19th and bottom-placed Carpi.

Their next fixture is in the Italian Serie B, away to 14th placed Venezia, scheduled for Sunday the 4th of November 2018.
